Can running make your brain grow?

You are probably aware that running as part of a healthy lifestyle is likely to reduce many of the lifestyle related diseases such as stroke, heart attached, type 2 diabetes etc. But it may also make you smarter and result in a more active brain as you age.

The only question I have is: If it works with mice, can we be sure that it works with humans? Until they find out I am happy to get the occasional “runners’ high”.
